HISTORY

As mentioned above Vanguard Excalibur was created when these 2 Lions teamed up. What it does described is the hardship in building up a fleet from scratch. To find 5 people to team up create the fleet at ESD was diffcult task. It took us about 30 minutes of calling out for help at ESD to find a 5th member to help create a fleet. 

The Fleet began like any other with very little people eager to donate to fleet projects but both Leaders pushed forward to get the fleet to level 10. At that point both leaders decided to create there own armada. As a mediocre and struggling fleet, creating an armada probably was not the best idea BUT it allowed the Leaders to gain great experience for the future. The armada was able to recruit 15-16 fleets total in the armada's life cycle, with a peak armada level at 234. Sadly the armada eventually disbanded due to all the inactive fleets in it. At that point the fleet bounced around a few different armadas trying to its best to gain experience and learn from other fleets.

Once the fleet found its current armada, the fleet began plans to ramp up and reach max fleet level. It took sometime but the fleet achieved that goal and then began to think about the creation of a KDF fleet.

HOUSE vALHALLA was created as part of the Leadership plans to diversify into the KDF side of the game. The founder of the fleet tried to create the and use the name "House Valhalla" but due to that name not being available, the founder decided to use "HOUSE vALHALLA" instead. The odd spelling has become a recognizable trade mark of the fleet. The fleet immediately was given an opportunity to join a high level kdf armada. Through the hard work of the leaders and the fellow fleet members and armada members, the fleet quickly reached max fleet level. 

At this point the Federation and the Klingon fleets were both doing really well and an opportunity to expand presented itself. Rearguard Excalibur was Level 14 fleet that was in Vanguard Excaliburs armada. As the years progressed the fleet fell into a state of abandonment. The leaders of the abandoned fleet passed the leadership mantle Admiral Noctis and he renamed the fleet and found an armada for newly named Rearguard Excalibur and began the restoration of an old ally. 

Warriors of Vallhalla, Battlegroup Excalibur, Task Force Excalibur and Riders of Valhalla were all part of another armada. But the leader of those fleets were looking to leave the game and an offer was made to purchase all those fleets. Admiral Noctis acquired all those fleets and began the restoration of all those fleets, which now brought the fleet count under the leadership of the 888 Empire to 7.

After restoring and intergrating the 888 Empire culture into the 5 new fleets. The opportunity arose for Admiral Noctis to acquire an abandoned KDF fleet which he renamed Priory of Valhalla. Once he restored that fleet, another opportunity was presented. Admiral Noctis was given the opportunity to acquire a federation fleet from leader that was looking to leave the game. He acquired the fleet and renamed it to Force Recon Excalibur and began the process of restoring the fleet. Now the 888 Empire has expanded to 9 fleets.

In mid 2022 the opportunity arose for Admiral Noctis to acquire 3 more federation fleets. He first began by acquiring Advantgarde Excalibur and then Royal Regiment Excalibur and then finally Legio VIII. Which brings the total fleet count to 12.

At start of 2023 Admiral Noctis, was given a chance to acquire a KDF fleet that had been long forgotten. He seized the opportunity and acquired the fleet and renamed it Tribe Valhalla. Thus began the restoration of that fleet.  At the end of Summer of 2023, Admiral Noctis acquired another federation fleet and formed the prestigious Excalibur Academy. That brings the fleet count to 14.
